Following on from my last blog post . Emma really did have something differant and special , a regal wedding car in cream and Pink,with a landaulette roof and a heart shaped back window.

Will and Emma a professional couple now living in Manchester, are having their wedding in the lovely Balmoral Suite at Bartle Hall this Sunday.
Emma will leave her family home in Newton in a ........ better not say I will tell you next week
Just pray that the weather holds, as it is Lytham Club Day on Saturday and not famous for good weather!

Weddings "Out of town"

Most weddings we photograph are around a 10mile radius from our home, namely, Fleetwood, Garstang, Preston and of course Blackpool and The Fylde Coast. but every now and again we travel a little further, be it the Lake District, Cheshire and over the Pennines into Yorkshire. all within a 2 hour drive.

e-mail arrangements are all very well but Wedding Photography is a very important and personal part of your day and we believe requires the personal approach from the offset.

Using a Professional Wedding Photographer based close to your home rather than an unknown near the venue makes a lot of sense, You are able to meet /visit and discus your wedding day plans and timings beforehand . Afterwards being able to collect your album and framed photographs- a lot less expensive .than driving to and from the venue area again and again.or using a courier service


Whenever we are commissioned to photograph out of our area, we always do our homework and visit the Hotel or Church prior to your wedding and if possible speak with your wedding organiser, thus ensuring we are fully prepared for your day.

In the next few months we have bookings that take back to Grange over Sands, The Lake District ,The Ribble Valley and the Peak District.

While many guests enjoyed the ease of travelling to and from Bartle Hall. in the "Wedding Bus" Karen choose to travel in the luxury and comfort offered by a Rolls Royce .

Neil and Amy's wedding at The Church of the Holy Cross Blackpool and Reception at The Clifton Arms Lytham

Bridesmaids can be a help or a hinder, but yesterday 4 of the 5 maids wonderful, looked lovely in Royal Purple, and very helpful to Amy our bride of the day, but the 5th, the youngest, very demanding required a personal dresser, insisted on early lunch and best of all raised her opinions in the church you guessed it - has anybody any objections......-but when you are 2 months old and the beloved daughter of Neil and Amy you can get away with anything.

Neil and Amy enjoyed a wonderful hot sunny day for their wedding at The Church of the Holy Cross ,Central Drive, Blackpool. followed by wedding breakfast in the beautiful Clifton Suite of The Clifton Arms Hotel Lytham with views overlooking the green and the famous windmill.

Neal and Amy's wedding this Saturday

After a few civil ceremonies over the last few week ,it will be a change to return to a more traditional style wedding at The Holy Cross Church Blackpool.

Neal Eade and Amy Creasdale are our Bride and Groom.

Amy has been counting the days down looking forward to her wedding day this Saturday,where we are going to capture for her all the story of the day, for a wedding story book and musical DVD presentation..

Before arriving at The Clifton Arms Hotel in Lytham, it is planned to take a selection of photographs along Lytham Green/shoreline.

To show you what a wonderful shoreline we have I have attached a slideshow of past wedding in this area.

Photography of Winter Weddings.

In Wintertime, with so little daylight, and sometimes a little chilly, photography of weddings is a very demanding task. We do not want to use a flash gun all the time, but capture you naturally with the daylight available. Stephen and Jane Nicholson's wedding at St Pauls Church Warton, with a marquee reception.

Four brides maids in pistachio green and two younger maids in ivory with a tie in pistachio complimented Jane in her Ian Stuart Bride dress in champagne from One and Only in Preston .

Saturday was not the best of summer weather, but this did not spoil the day for Stephen and Jane,who married at St Pauls Church Warton.
