Shane and Julie's wedding day at St Leonard's Church, Walton le Dale, Preston

Blustery showers all day- such is the British weather, but for Shane and Julie sunshine glowed from their hearts from the moment they saw each other at the top on the aisle of St Leonard's church , Walton le Dale yesterday.

We had to resort to our portable Metz studio flash equipment for the family photographs inside the church but a break in the weather allowed us to take the bridal party( refreshed with champagne) to Miller Park for a few relaxed, fun and informal photographs along the Derby Walk, Italianate Terrace and fountain area.

All the wedding photographs from the day will be on the Internet in about 14 days.

Shane and Julie choose us to photograph their wedding day after meeting us at the Best Western Hotel Wedding Fayre in Leyland earlier this year - our next wedding fayre we will be exhibiting at is the De Vere Hotel Blackpool on Sunday 12 September.

The three main groups that wedding photography styles can be defined as

Matthew and Kathryn's reception at The Netherwood Hotel Grange over Sands

Matthew and Kathryn really did know how to indulge the guests. starting straight after the service at St. Michael's Church Kirkham with an delicious chocolate theme afternoon Tea for the congregation in the church hall.

During Matthew and Kathryn's leisurely drive to The Netherwood hotel in Grange over Sands on the country roads in the awesome Clouds Royal Royce " Diana" The wedding guests enjoyed a wide variety of canapes , a glass of pimms and strawberries tipped in chocolate served on the hotel veranda.
x
When Matthew and Kathryn arrived and after a few photographs with the wedding limousine the wedding breakfast was ready to be served. Being invited to such a sumptuous 3 course meal was an absolute treat. and yes you guessed it part of the assiet of desserts was chocolate cake.
x
As the light was fading we finally got round to taking the family group photographs just before the big secret was revealed - A wonderful firework display with the breathtaking backdrop of Morcambe bay.
x
The Netherwood is a stunning hotel, beautifully landscaped sitting in the hillside overlooking the bay, an absolute joy for any wedding photographer . We feel very privileged to be asked to photograph Matthew and Kathryn's wedding day.x
x
While Matthew and Kathryn are enjoying a holiday we will be busy preparing the photographs for their wedding story book, releasing them to the Internet as soon as they have viewed,
around the end of the month.

Matthew and Kathryn's wedding this Sunday in Kirkham at St Michaels.

Matthew and Kathryn have chosen this Sunday for their wedding in St Michael's church Kirkham.

Sunday weddings seem a little quieter and somehow more relaxed and of course an appropriate day for visiting a church.

Clouds Rolls Royce car "Diana" has a lovely day trip ahead as it has been chosen by Matthew and Kathryn to take them to their lovely reception hotel

Looking forward to it immensely, as we have been invited to the wedding breakfast, in one of my favourite hotels, The Netherwood at Grange over Sands.

Andrew and Kelly Smith's wedding at St Thomas' Church.

All Kelly asked for was a fun day, a day that she will remember, with lots of informal photographs with the bridal party, Usually only the Bride and Groom wish to visit parks and gardens so it was such a change to have large group of Kelly and Andrew's friends join us in the Rock Gardens last Saturday afternoon . We really did have lots of fun and the results are amazing, but you will have to wait a little while longer to see all the photographs as Kelly and Andrew must see them first.

Andrew and Emma's wedding at The Grand Hotel St Annes on Sea

When I arrived at the bridal suite for pre-wedding photographs of Emma and her two bridesmaids I never expected to see a calm, relaxed bride in a tidy room , but then I remembered, Emma is a teacher and being organised is second nature to her.
Andrew , although arrived in good time, had three best men to assist him.

With only a handful of group photographs requested, it allowing plenty of time for informal photographs of the guests enjoying a glass of bubbly. and even time for some romantic photographs of Andrew and Emma on the lovely St Annes seafront- just across the road from the hotel.-
The reception had a Cream Tea theme beautifully executed in the table decorations from Flower Design St Annes,
Andrew and Emma has selected to have in a Wedding Story Book , this means they will have to choose 100 photographs to be arranged over 30 pages to tell the story of their day--- not an easy task see exampleWedding Story Book
When Andrew and Emma return from their holiday in Tenerife, all the wedding photographs will be released for guests to view.

Danny and Mandy's wedding at The Gibbon Bridge Hotel

Bridal Bubbles showered Danny and Mandy as they walked down the steps from a very emotional wedding ceremony in the Band Stand last Friday at the Gibbon Bridge Hotel . Mandy's soft gold bridal gown looked simply stunning and contrasted beautifully against the rich chocolaty brown colour theme. chosen for the eight bridesmaids, two best men ,two ushers, dads and Danny the groom .

It was like a hugh chocolate cake with Mandy and Danny being the cherries on the top.
All the wedding day photographs will be on line around mid August.
