Paul and Sonia's wedding at Lytham Hall

Paul and Sonia's wedding day on Saturday was packed full of surprises, from the moment the helicopter was spotted hovering above Lytham Hall  bringing Paul to the Hall in  true style.

Sonia's  equally  impressive  arrival in a beautiful horse drawn carriage

The surprise  of the day must be the ring bearer  Crystal a cute white barn own who suprised everyone  coming to rest on the best mans arm,  right on cue , bringing the all important  wedding rings

Surprises continued  throughout the day with a mixture of outdoor games  in the lovely grounds of Lytham hall before the wedding breakfast prepared and served by rowleys  in the central courtyard .

A special mention to Mike Taylor who played  wonderful jazz music throughout the day on the baby grand piano

The Church of the Holy Cross and Clifton Arms Hotel Lytham

Neil and Amy enjoyed a wonderful hot sunny day for their wedding at The Church of the Holy Cross ,Central Drive, Blackpool. followed by wedding breakfast in the beautiful Clifton Suite of The Clifton Arms Hotel Lytham with views overlooking the green and the famous windmill.

LYTHAM HALL

Looking forward to visiting  Lytham Hall  later this week and being part of  Paul and Sonia's wedding day celebrations.

Lytham Hall is a fine grade I listed 18th century manor house on the Lancashire coast. The Hall is situated in 80 acres of mature
parkland, and was built for Thomas Clifton by John Carr of York between 1752-1764 on the site of an earlier manor house and Priory settled by Benedictine monks from Durham.

We have visited Lytham Hall many times for open days, events and weddings and feel we do the house and grounds well.

Jane and Stephens wedding at St Pauls Warton.

Jane a farmers daughter  had the most wonderful farmhouse cottage, to indulge us for the start of her wedding day. oldy worldly rooms, rich in character, old beams an absolute joy to commence photography on her wedding day.

Jane had a magnificent horse drawn carriage to take her  to the church St  Pauls in Warton.another wonderful church locally to us and very photogenic, and with a marquee in their own  field, across from the house, the day couldn't have been planned better.if only it had not rained. and rain it did, never easing all day.but with so many lovely features around us, we amazed ourselves at the abundance of photographs we where able to show Jane and Stephen a few days after their wedding day, if fact they struggled to choose for their album and ending up with around 150 photographs .  Have a wonderful day on the 29th.  Happy anniversary.

Sunday afternoon wedding for Anthony and Emma at Bartle Hall

The sun was shining , a  perfect day for the Anthony and Emma at Bartle Hall.

Completing the summer theme, all the guests enjoyed a sizzling   Barbecue  cooked  in the spacious grounds of Bartle Hall  with lots of salad to accompany - it was a perfect  lazy Sunday afternoon. 23 May 2010   Happy Anniversary to you both have a lovely day.

The Great Hall at Mains for Alison and David 's wedding Day

David and Alison choose the Great Hall at Mains to have their wedding service. The colour theme of their wedding was yellow and brown
The Great Hall  was decorated with lots of sunflowers Alison's favourite flower.
