At the head of Ullswater just north of the Kirkstone Pass, Patterdale, sits cradled by mountains, in a valley among some of Lakeland's finest scenery
This weekend St Patrick's church in Patterdale will be filled with wedding guests for the wedding of Matt and Luisa.
But before visiting the church of St Patricks guests are asked to obey the welcome sign that reads ‘Helvellyn praises God, but please do not bring it into church on your boots..'
